Tips when having a rough week :)




It's been kind of hard getting back in work mode after the holidays, so I haven't slept that well. Yesterday I decided to take a long shower before going to bed and put sesame oil on my skin before drying myself with a towel. I use organic sesame oil with some drops of essential oils (e.g. lavender, ylang ylang, peppermint or geranium or a mix). You can get the oils at a health food store (the Norwegian site aromashop.no have several essential oils)

You apply it on wet skin and massage it into the skin before drying yourself of with a soft towel. It feels great and is nourishing to the skin.




I also love my shakti mat. The shakti mat has 6000 spikes that touch acupuncture points when you lie down on it (see www.shaktioriginal.eu). It takes some getting used to, but you can start off with your shirt on if it feels to intense on bare skin. Now it's easy to find cheap imitations as well, which should work well too (I even saw them selling them at the supermarket the other day... yoga is getting more and more mainstream).
