One of my favorite life changing books is Gorgeously Green by Sophie Ulliano. It's an eight step book for a more environment friendly life. You're supposed to read one chapter each week and make changes in your life, but I finished the whole book in a couple of weeks. This book is funny and enlightening. I recommend it to all girls who want to make changes that matter and still look good and feel great.
Anyway, one of the chapters is on natural cosmetics. I have found many new favorites. I love lush (see favorite links). Their products are chemical free and have little packaging. Most of them are vegan and not tested on animals (which is also important to me and the environment, since all living creatures are part of the earth). I especially love their deodorant (it contains no aluminium)
I also love Bare Minerals mineral make-up, especially their foundation.
Other brands I like are: Urtekram (a danish company, they also produce wonderful organic food. ), Sante, Spry toothpaste (If you live in Norway, Sante, Spry and Urtekram can be found at Ultra) Juice Beauty, Korres (Greek company; I discovered Korres when I visited Athens a couple of years ago) and Sparitual nail polishes (brands available on skinstore.com),
